Mount Toubkal Trek from Marrakech: Guided Treks to North Africa's Highest Peak

Mount Toubkal is North Africa’s highest peak at 4,167m, and nearly every trek to its summit starts as a Mount Toubkal trek from Marrakech. From our base near Asni, we run guided treks ranging from a fast 2-day summit push to an 11-day tour through remote Berber valleys — all starting with a scenic drive from Marrakech to the trailhead village of Imlil (about 65km, roughly 1.5–2 hours by road through Tahanaout and Asni).

Every trek includes a certified local mountain guide, a mule team to carry gear, and overnight stays in mountain refuges or Berber guesthouses. No technical climbing experience is required — just reasonable fitness and the willingness to walk 5–7 hours a day at altitude.
