10:00–11:00 — Argan oil cooperative Stop at a local argan oil cooperative to see how the oil is traditionally pressed, and taste amlou (Moroccan almond-argan spread) with fresh bread and mint tea.
11:00–12:30 — Setti Fatma & the waterfalls Arrive at Setti Fatma, the last village on the paved road and the starting point for the Setti Fatma waterfall hike. The first waterfall is roughly 30–45 minutes up a rocky, uneven trail — sturdy shoes recommended. Guides are available on-site for those who want to continue beyond the first cascade.
12:30–14:00 — Riverside lunch A traditional Moroccan lunch (tagine or couscous) at a riverside restaurant, with your feet practically in the Ourika River.
14:00–15:30 — Berber village & free time Walk through a traditional Berber village, and — if you’re visiting on a Monday — browse the weekly Tnine Ourika souk, a local market for the surrounding communities rather than a tourist bazaar.
15:30–17:00/18:00 — Return to Marrakech Drive back to the city with a stop for photos as the afternoon light hits the valley’s red-rock walls. Drop-off at your hotel or Jemaa el-Fna.
