Discover the beauty of the High Atlas Mountains step by step
After breakfast we transfer by minibus or 4×4 to Imi Oughlad, a journey that Takes us from the plains around Marrakech into the heart of the High Atlas range. After meeting our mules and muleteers team, we start a 5 hour walk,
trek up to the Tacht Pass (2000m) and then descending into the Azaden Valley, having lunch in Imi Nifri, after lunch we contunie the walk to Tizi Oussem a very traditional village, overnight in nice panoramic berber guest house and good views of the Azzaden, Approx 5hrs walk .
Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech and transfer to Imlil via Oughlad. Trek through the beautiful Azzaden Valley before reaching Tizi Oussem for an overnight stay in a traditional Berber guesthouse.
Day 2: Continue through the Azzaden Valley, passing waterfalls, terraced fields, and mountain villages while enjoying spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains.
Day 3: Cross the Aguelzim Pass (3,550m) and trek to Toubkal Base Camp, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
Day 4: Begin the summit ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top, and descend back to Base Camp.
Day 5: Descend through scenic mountain trails to Armed village and spend the night in a traditional mountain lodge.
Day 6: Return to Marrakech and enjoy free time exploring the vibrant medina, souks, and historic landmarks.
Day 7: Relax in Marrakech or enjoy optional sightseeing and cultural experiences.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport for departure.
